The scent of wood, golden brass catches your eye, and the nooks and crannies spark your curiosity. The Restaurant Decantei combines zeitgeist and tradition – and so is our architecture by pedevilla architects: inspired by South Tyrolean parlours and combined with modern accents.
Our historic interiors tell stories from times gone by and can accommodate up to a hundred people. Here you can dine and celebrate in a unique atmosphere, surrounded by traces of the past. When the temperatures rise, our large outdoor dining area and cool courtyard with playground invite you to enjoy the warm summer days.
This is where the canons of Bressanone once lived their lives. The bishop would walk warily through the Old Deanery, incense filling the air, and on holidays the lords would enjoy beer and hearty food. The Restaurant Decantei has its roots in the Old Deanery. Here, a small piece of Bressanone’s history lives on.
